Information reaching TamaleOnline News indicates that Mahama Abu Kamara, the Parliamentary Candidate for Yapei-Kusowgu in the Savannah region has died in a car accident.
The accident occurred at the Datoyili Police Barrier in the Northern Region.
This comes barely one week after the MP for Mfasntsiman in the Central Region was shot and killed by armed robbery while returning from campaigning.
The cause of the accident is not readily know but Savannah Regional Communications officer, Mohammed Issah in a Facebook post revealed Mr Kamaru died alongside his aide and another occupant.
“With a heavy heart, the Savannah Regional NPP and the party at large announces the unfortunate demise of our Parliamentary Candidate for the Yapei Kusowgu Constituency, Hon Abu Kamara.
“He died with an aide, Majeed Kotochi(Young Chief) and another occupant in an unfortunate accident at the Datoyili police barrier,” Mohammed Issah wrote.
