The leader of the Delta Force, Kwadwo Bamba has promised Ghanaians they will not misconduct themselves again and has also asked for “prayers” from Ghanaians so that their friends who have been “arrested” to be released.
Kwadwo Bamba told Angel FM that if an NDC group had done this under an NDC government, nobody would have been arrested. But because the NPP is a law-abiding party, they have reported the incident to the police.
“I am happy to be part of a party that applies the law,” Bamba said.
He then asked Ghanaians and Dr Anthony Akoto Osei to forgive them and also said they will not do anything like that again.
Last week, some members of the group nearly attacked the Minister for Evaluation and Monitoring, Dr Anthony Akoto Osei at Tafo-Pankrono in Kumasi. According to the members, Minister who is also the MP for the area promised them jobs if voted into power yet nothing has been heard from since winning the election.
Though the Minister said he is not the reason why they caused disturbances at the program he had attended, some of the members of the group have been arrested as they were captured in a video that went viral.
