Politician and businessman, Akwasi Addae popularly known as Odike has added his voice to the controversies surrounding the allegations leveled against GFA President, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi during an interview on ABN Ghana.
He described the means through which Anas used to capture Nyantakyi on camera as a crime because he planned to ‘incriminate Nyantakyi.’
‘Nyantakyi should advise himself [and leave the GFA]’ as some people see him as ‘Mugabe’ at the GFA.
‘I would have resigned if I were the GFA President.’
‘Personally, I do not like how Anas did his work.’
‘If you look at what Anas has done to Nyantakyi, you could clearly see they [Tiger Eye] planned and organized to incriminate him’
‘It’s a crime, Anas has caused a crime’ because he targeted Nyantakyi.
Odike also stated that if Anas wanted the investigation to be conclusive, he should have followed it till the money had gotten to the President.
Moreover, he pointed out that people have been using the name of the president to make deals but that does not mean one has done something illegal. He further expounded this by saying the investors should have known there are procedures to follow so if they want to by-pass the procedure then there is nothing wrong with what Nyantakyi did.
‘Akwasi was lobbying to bring investors to Ghana so Nana Addo should forgive him’, he said.
Odike believes the GFA boss was only bragging due to his relationship with the President.
According to the businessman, all that Akwasi Nyantakyi should do is to apologize to the President but the [fake] investors should rather be punished.
