The coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has become the first Ghanaian coach to win a World Cup game.
He is the second Ghanaian to coach a team at the FIFA World Cup after Kwasi Appiah who took Ghana to the World Cup in 2014 in Brazil.

At the 2014 World Cup, Appiah’s team exited the tournament with 1 point after losing to USA and Portugal and then drawing with Germany.

With one more game to go, Addo’s men has 3 points after beating South Korea 3-2 last Monday.
Addo is also the first Ghanaian to play at the World Cup and qualify a team for the tournament.
