Former President, John Dramani Mahama has criticized the ruling NPP government for not listening to advice.
According to the former President, the Nana Addo-led administration does not listen to advice that is why people are suffering under his leadership.
He explained that the NPP government does not want to organize National Stakeholders Conference and did not even listen to the opposition’s view on the free Senior High School policy that is why the government is spending all the state’s money on it.
He went on to say that all the money the government is spending on the Free SHS could have been used to invest in agriculture and other sectors to make life easy.
Since launching his campaign, Mahama has said he will review the free SHS, the Double Track System and other policies introduced by the ruling government to make it better for Ghanaians if he becomes President again.
“The Double Track does not make sense,” he said, criticizing how the new educational system is.
“Our friends [the NPP] does not listen to advice. They think they are the only ones with sense.”
“If we come to power we will call on the experts and review the Free Senior High School policy.”
