A fake man of God called Anthony Nana Agyei also known as Akwadaa Nyame might have to change his name after he chose the wrong man to use as an accomplice to perform his miracles.
Akwadaa Nyame spent about one month at Manso Abodom to prepare for his final crusade, yet, it did not go as planned.
Before his last day at Manso Abodom, Akwadaa Nyame held a mini service. During the service, he mixed salt and water and told those around to pay ¢50 and get some to wash their hands as it can make them rich.
Afterwards, he told the people that he can heal madmen and took a popular madman in the area called Kwame Siabour to where he was living to heal him.
For the next few weeks, he took care of him and then started announcing that he has healed the man. His announcement got the attention of the residents and people living in nearby towns.
On the day of this final crusade, Akwadaa Nyame while praying and preaching, told the congregants that he has seen a madman in the Spiritual realm walking from town to town.
Later he told the congregants the madman has sort refuge in a school building which also used as a church at Manso Abodom. He asked those who can to go and bring him to the crusade for him to heal him.
The men who followed the direction of the pastor found the madman naked in the building and brought him to the crusade.
Unfortunately for the “madman”, a resident of the town saw him when he arrived at Manso Abodom with two women.
According to him, he saw the man enter the school building and took off his clothes and begun acting like a madman.
When he [the mad man] was brought to the crusade ground, the man who saw him started protesting and also attacked him with his belt and told people the man is not mad.
Unable to stand the pressure, the madman was rescued by the Chief’s Linguist who took him to his house.
The fake madman later confessed that he is not mad but has been paid ¢300 by Akwadaa Nyame to act that way. Also, he confessed that his sisters were also paid by the pastor and they were to be given the full amount after the program.
The youth of Manso Abodom then went to where the Akwadaa Nyame and collect their offering, however, Akwadaa Nyame was arrested and he has been sent to Antoa Police Station.
