Ghanaian footballer, Jordan Ayew has moved from Welsh club Swansea to English side Crystal Palace all in the English Premier League after his former club got relegated to the English Championship.
But it is not his new club that has got Ghanaians talking but rather the possibility of his new club being relegated that people seem to be interested in.
Before joining Swansea, Jordan joined Aston Villa but the club got relegated during his first season with the club.
He switched camps and joined Swansea and that was where he found his groove.
The former Olympic Marseille attacker was the club’s top scorer and also their best player.
But unfortunately for him, Swansea also got relegated.
Before moving to England to join Aston Villa, the clubs he played for in France all got relegated with the exception of Marseille. Sochaux and Lorient were the clubs he played for in France.
But can Crystal Palace be the first team to avoid being relegated with him on their side?
With his two previous clubs, they signed him on a permanent deal but Palace has managed to get him on a loan deal.
So does this mean they can save themselves since he is just there on a loan?
Well, we can only wait and see till the final day of the league, however, we wish him the best at his new club.
