The Director of Odorkor Kwashieman United and former GFA presidential aspirant, Ankomah Mensah has said his message did not go down well with the delegates because he campaign was based on anti-corruption and transparency in the football association.
Ankomah told GTV that his “only disappointment is that people do not like anti-corruption as a message and as long as we don’t like anti-corruption as a message then we Ghanaians we are in trouble.”
He added that he prays that one day his kind of message will take root in the country.
Although the delegates did not accept his message, Ankomah said he will not stop campaigning that way and will continue to do it “in his own small way.”
Ankomah got no vote in the GFA election last Friday described the journey as an “eye-opener” said his aim throughout the journey was to get his message to the people and that we “got to move from the old ways of doing things.”
