Ghanaian football fans have been shocked by Dreams FC’s Philemon Baffour’s Black Stars call up for the World Cup 2022 qualifying games against Ethiopia and South Africa.
Baffour has been called to the national teams on five occasions but he is yet to play a game. The 20-year-old right back was an unused sub last weekend when his club played Asante Kotoko on matchday one of the Ghanaian Premier League.

Milovan defended his decision to call Baffour to the national team when he was questioned by a journalist.
While some believe he has what it takes to play for the national team, most people believe his constant call up is because he plays for the Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku’s club.
After coach Milovan Rajevac mentioned his name in his 28-man squad, Ghanaians went on social media to express their shock.
