The remains of all eight individuals killed in the Z-9 military helicopter crash on Wednesday, August 6, were transported to Accra and placed at the 37 Military Hospital.
The burnt bodies were retrieved from the crash site near Sikaman in the Adansi Akrofuom area of the Ashanti Region. They were flown in a Ghana Air Force Casa aircraft that evening. Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, along with other dignitaries, received the remains, and clergy offered prayers at the arrival.

Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the crash as burial begins.
