Sad news coming in indicates the former Vice President of Ghana, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has died.
According to reports, the former bank of Ghana Governor collapsed at the gym and was pronounced dead at the 37 Military Hospital.
Amissah Arthur became the Vice President after the demise of president John Evans Atta Mills when he was appointed by the new president John Mahama.

He was sworn in on the 6 August 2012 and was in power till 7 January 2017.

He was born on April 29, 1951 in Cape Coast and leaves behind two children and a wife, Matilda Amissah-Arthur.
He completed Mfantsipim School and did both his Bsc and Msc in Economics at the University of Ghana.
He was an economist, academician, politician and a consultant.
