Police arrest NDC man who told party members to kill, beat NPP supporters for Mahama, NDC to win election 2028

The Ghana Police Service has arrested the National Democratic Congress (NDC) executive inciting political violence ahead of the 2024 elections.

Razak Avoliya, the Youth Organiser of the NDC at Suame Constituency, in an interview with Oyerepa TV in Kumasi said their party members should prepare themselves ahead of the elections and kill New Patriotic Party members if they have to for them to win the elections next year. He added that their national executives support the violence so they will do it.

Avoliya is in police custody and will appear before the court ‘to face justice’.
