The Ghana Police Service has reported the arrest of two individuals in connection with the death of Naomi Jehubiyah, an American citizen, in Nyinasen near Cape Coast, Central Region.
According to a police statement dated April 21, 2024, the suspects are Wisdom Sete, a Togolese national, and his Ghanaian accomplice, Yussif Afrim. They were apprehended on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Assin Prasso for their alleged involvement in Naomi Jehubiyah’s murder.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Sete, who was engaged to the deceased, conspired with Afrim to kill her.
The statement further mentioned that Naomi Jehubiyah’s body has been taken to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy. Additionally, two vehicles belonging to the deceased were recovered from the suspects.
As of now, the suspects are in custody, assisting the police with their investigations. The statement was signed by ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, the Police Public Affairs Director.
