The police commander at Asante Akyem South, DSP Andrew Anyeni in the Ashanti Region has indicated he will take it upon himself to arrest children who roam about at night in the area.
According to him, children who roam at night mostly indulge in gambling so the move is to prevent children to stop gambling. He also said he will even arrest young adults when he meets them during his patrols.

He further added that gambling is a crime according to the gaming laws in the country, therefore, children who indulge in it will be arrested.

He has asked parents to talk to their children to desist from such acts.
