A community policeman, Nana Yaw Walker has been arrested in Obuasi for stealing a motorbike and
Walker entered Peter Adomako’s room at midnight. When Adomako tried to wake up and find out who is in his room, Walker told him he will kill him if he wakes up.
He quickly took his laptop and left the room. He stole his motorbike and sped off with it.
Adomako called for help and they traced the motorbike to a house. Walker came out of the house and told them he heard the sound of a motorbike drove through a route which he showed Adomako and his friends.
Adomako refused to believe him as the motorbike’s marks stopped at Walker’s house.
Walker got angry and said they are trying to accuse him of being a thief.
About five minutes later, Walker left his house and Adomako went to the police station to report it.
Around 2 o’clock pm, the policemen on patrol found the motorbike at the back of the car while Walker was also in the car.
Walker was arrested and taken to the police station.
