PSG look to lure Wijnaldum away from Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race to sign the Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum.

Ronald Koeman could see one of his main summer targets slip away as PSG attempt to secure his services.

According to ESPN, the French side have put an offer on the table that Barcelona simply can’t compete with.

Barcelona tried to sign the Liverpool man in the last window, and are looking to bring him in on a free this year.

After the signings of Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia, the Catalans were looking to bring Wijnaldum to the Camp Nou in a deal that would be in line with the difficult financial situation the club finds itself in.

The midfielder is currently with the Netherlands squad ahead of the European Championship.
