Qatar 2022: Black Stars players to be paid in cedis not dollars

The Black Stars players have been told to give their cedis bank account details to the Ghana Football Association for the payment of their appearance fees and per diem.

According to the report, the players have been told they would be paid in only Ghanaian Cedis and not US dollars as it has been done during previous tournaments.

Each player will receive $100,000 as an appearance fee at the World Cup in Qatar and since they are going to be paid in only cedis it means they would be receiving ₵1,470,000.00 and their per diem which is $500 will also be ₵7,350.00.

The money, per the report, will be paid by Friday.
