‘Referee Selorm did Bless Hearts today’ – Saddick Adams

Sports journalist Saddick Adams has described Selorm Yao Bless’ officiating in the game between Kotoko and Hearts as a blessing to the Phobians.

Hearts of Oak equalized in the last minute of the game and from replay, Caleb Amankwaah’s goal was clearly offside.

Kotoko players set the offside trap and even raised their hands after the goal but the referee and linesman ignored their call.

Kotoko should have been awarded at least three penalties after Augustine Agyapong, Isaac Oppong, and Steven Mukwala were all brought down in Hearts’ 18-yard box but neither the referee nor linesmen punished Hearts of Oak for the offense.
