The Referees Association of Ghana has threatened to quit officiating league matches if the Disciplinary Committee does not change its ruling on the game between Elmina Sharks and Medeama FC.
The match ended abruptly after the referee of the game was hit by an object, allegedly from the home fans.
The Disciplinary Committee this week ruled that the game should be replayed again at the same venue, Nduom Stadium at Elmina.
The ruling by the Disciplinary Committee has angered both the referees and Medeama FC.
The referees have given the committee until next week Tuesday to change the ruling or else they will not officiate any league match in the country.
