Berkane knocks Ash Gold out of the Confederation Cup

Obuasi Ashanti Gold has been knocked out of the CAF Champions League after losing to Moroccan’s RS Berkane.

Berkane beat Ash Gold 2-0 to qualify to the next stage of the competition.

In the 8th minute, Musah Mohammed was sent off and 24 minutes later, Dayo Issoufou scored the first goal for Berkane make it level on aggregate.

Zaid Krouch sublime curler in the 45th minute of the first half gave the home side a 2-0 lead.

Alain Traore could have made it three for Berkane but his close-range header went over the bar.

Berkane qualified on 4-3 aggregate.
