Some fans of Accra Hearts of Oak are not happy with their interim manager, Nii Odoom and have called on the owner of the club, Togbe Afede XIV to sack him.
Odoom was made the interim manager after the sacking of Kim Grant after matchday one in the ongoing Ghanaian Premier League. Odoom lost his first match but he has since been able to get the team from the relegation zone to the middle of the table.
Hearts currently lie in the 9th position on the table with 17 points. Odoom in his interviews after some Hearts games has said the problem with the team now is with their scoring ability and he is working on it. The Phobians have scored 10 goals in 12 games and conceded 11 goals and this has got the fans talking about the future of the team.
However, The Post understands it will be difficult for the board of Accra Hearts of Oak to sack Odoom especially when he is the only manager at their dugout.
Per the new Premier League rules, the head coach of a club is supposed to have CAF license A certificate or its equivalent. Hearts, as at now, does not have a manager with that certificate leading the technical team, therefore, it would be difficult for him to be sacked.
