Mohamed Salah has vowed to deliver Liverpool a trophy as he aims to reach a century of goals for the club.
Salah joined the club in 2017, and has become a goalscoring sensation at Anfield.
He is the fastest player to hit 50 goals for the club, netting a staggering 44 strikes just last season.
Salah netted 10 goals as the Reds reached the Champions League final, where he was injured after a clash with Sergio Ramos. Jurgen Klopp’s men were ultimately beaten 3-1, as they failed to win a trophy in 2017-18.
And the Egypt international says that he is desperate to lift silverware at a club he “loves”.
“When I came here, from the beginning I had a dream,” he told BBC Sport.
“I had something in my mind and I want to achieve it. Last season we were very close but in the end we didn’t win anything.
“We were very close to achieving one of them, but we lost in the Champions League final. I love the club and I want to win something here.”
Salah’s goalscoring exploits have made him an integral member of Jurgen Klopp’s squad, and he has already scored eight goals this term.
He added: “To be the fastest player to score fifty goals for the club is something great. I am happy about that, and I need to carry on to score more goals, and I am looking forward to the hundred!”
Salah’s favourite goal for the club is perhaps a bizarre one, however, with the star foregoing his Puskas Award-winning strike against Everton to pick his solo strike against Tottenham, which came in a dramatic 2-2 draw at Anfield.
“Each goal at Anfield, I always feel great to score here,” he added.
“Especially this goal (against Tottenham) as it was in the last two or three minutes. You use your power, your strength, your skill. It was a great goal for me and a great moment.”
