UDS level 200 students asked to analyze Shatta Wale’s ‘Ghana is a village’ comment in their exams
Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale’s ‘Ghana is a village’ comment has appeared at the end of academic year exams for level 200 students of the University of Development Students.
In their Fundamentals of Human Geography paper, the students were asked to analyze the statement using their ‘knowledge about development problems in villages’.
The question further demanded the students to ‘state five reasons why Shatta Wale described the whole Ghana as a village’.
Shatta Wale during a concert in London told his fans he is a nice guy and that he is not the kind of person the Ghanaian media talks about. He then asked them to say ‘Ghana is a village’.
His comment divided Ghanaians as some Ghanaians supported his argument. Some Ghanaians used our level of development to support the dancehall artist while others lashed out at him for making such a comment.
