Should Anas be sued for fixing matches?

Anas Amereyaw Anas’ Number 12 documentary about the rot in Ghana football has got everyone talking.

Since the premiere of Anas’ expose, some people have been saying Anas should be sued for fixing matches especially the match between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.

Those saying Anas should be sued make reference to the May 9, 2001 incident.

What if another May 9 incident had happened? Would he have been proud of his action?

Would he have proudly claimed responsibility for the penalty that decided the game?

Although people are happy with the expose and the rot it has unearthed, football lovers especially those who support Kumasi Asante Kotoko believe his action made them lose three points and as a result, something needs to be done.

Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team, posed as supporters of Hearts of Oak to bribe referees to officiate matches to favour them.

Some Hearts supporters since the revelation are saying Anas and his team should compensate Hearts for using their name to do his investigation.

It is yet to be known if someone will be willing to sue Anas Amereyaw Anas for fixing some matches in the Ghana Premier League last season.
