Simba is reborn – Disney to release the new Lion King next year

Disney has released the trailer for the live-action of their 1994 animated movie the Lion King.

Unlike the one we have been watching every day, the new the lion king look more like real lions as compared to the old one.

The new movie will star Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Simba’s friend-turned-love interest Nala, Jones as Mufasa and 12 years a Slave star Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar. Seth Rogen, Keegan-Michael Key, John Oliver, Billy Eichner and John Kani are also in the movie.

The original movie which is still popular today is rated among the best animated movies of all time. It won an Academy Awards and grossed $968.8 million globally.

The new movie will hit cinemas on July 19 2019.
