Prostitutes at Asafo in Kumasi have been beaten in a way they will never forget.
According to the report, two soldiers went to a bar at Asafo to have a drink after attending a funeral at Asokwa.
Two prostitutes went to join the soldiers at their table and the soldiers told them they were at the bar to have a drink.
While they were talking, one of the prostitutes was able to put her hand in one of the soldier’s hand and stole her money.
When the soldiers were done with their drinks, the one who was supposed to pay realised his money, ID card and other stuff had been stolen when he wanted to pay for the drinks they bought.
They confronted the women but they denied stealing their money.
The two soldiers left the bar and return with a “sprinter” full of young soldiers.
The soldiers entered the house/brothel where the prostitutes live. They lined them up and started beating them and later took 17 of the girls to the police station at Asokwa.
The following day, someone found the soldier’s ID card and other documents on the floor while sweeping the house and took it to the police station.
According to the report, the one who stole from the soldier is called Salla and he was able to escape when the police came to their house.
The police have given the soldier his stuff, however, Salla is still on the run.
