Oyerepa Radio Sports show host, Otuo ‘Sometymer’ Acheampong has revealed the amount of money some of the board members of the erstwhile Board members of Kumasi Asante Kotoko gave the club during the three-year stay in office.
According to him, the board spent GH¢ 4, 290, 000 on the club.
Below is the names of the Board members and the amount they gave to the club.
Kwasi Osei-Ofori – GH¢ 1,490,000
James Osei Brown – GH¢ 860, 000
Kwadwo Boateng Genfi – GH¢ 697, 000
Dr Kwame Kyei – GH¢ 599, 000
Dr Kofi Abban – GH¢ 219, 000 plus two cars
Alhaji Abu Lamin – GH¢ 50, 000
Jude Arthur – GH¢ 150, 000
Martin Osei Brobbey – GH¢ 225, 000
While some journalists and fans criticized the board for not giving money to the Management to run the club, this revelation by the ace journalist has proven the critics wrong.
As of now, it is not clear if the board would be given another term to run the club or if a new board would be formed.
