The leadership of Teacher Trainee Association of Ghana has told all trainee teachers not to pay their fees as the fees they are paying for this semester is very high.
The Post has gathered that last year, they paid almost ¢1,400 which included their feeding fee. This year, their feeding fee is being deducted from their allowance but the fees they are paying is almost ¢1, 600.
The leaders of the association have been told the fees has not been approved by government and when they made enquiries from their principals, they did not give them any clear explanation.
And as a result, the student at the various training colleges have been paid not to pay their fees till they get a word from the government or a better explanation from their principals.
