Teenage Pregnancy, Teenage Galamsayers on the rise at Aduaneye

Nana Kwatemaa Adamu, the Queen of Aduaneyede Odumase Obuasi is worried about the increase in teenage pregnancy in the area.

According to her, the increase in illegal mining activities in the area has made it easy for the men to lure the girls with money.

She is very worried as this had led to most teenagers dropping out of school.

The teenagers in the area on the other hand stated that they are involved in illegal activities because they have no one to take care of them. If they get people to sponsor their education, they will go back to school.

Nana Kwatemaa is calling on the government to help her put an end to the increase in teenage pregnancies and the increase in teenagers dropping out of school.
