Carpenters at Tepa have threatened to go on demonstration and fight with the police in the area if Lance Corporal Henry Lamptey is not arrested or punished.
Lance Corporal Lamptey in a leaked video was seen beating a carpenter, Kwabena Boateng and also arrested him for not doing his furniture.
The video has since gone viral as it is the second time this year a policeman has been caught on tape beating a civilian.
Some carpenters are saying the policeman should have given him time to fight his work and have also criticized the policeman for his action.
Kwabena Boateng had finished slaughtering a pig when the incident happened.
Lance Corporal Lamptey forced Kwabena Boateng to the police station and also hit his sister when she intervened to help his brother.
Lance Corporal Henry Lamptey has not been arrested because, according to the police, no one has made a complaint against him.
Kwabena Boateng is currently in police custody as he has been remanded.
