The coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kjetil Zachariassen, according to a report by Fox FM has not been paying his tax since he was appointed by the club.
According to the report, Kotoko rather used the club’s money to pay his tax instead of deducting it from his salary since he was signed in July.
While it may seem hard to believe, according to the report, the reason is that he was attending all-night church services with the Executive Chairman of the club, Dr Kwame Kyei and was also prayerful.
There have been calls by the fans of the club as football pundits to sack him as he does not qualify to coach the club.
Zachariassen is yet to return to Ghana after failing to qualify Kotoko to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup a competition he said is the club’s level.
