Thieves beat man mercilessly for telling them he has no money

A farmer is in serious condition after he was beaten mercilessly by two men. The two men, believed to be thieves met the man when he was going to his farm.

The farmer whose name is Kofi Douglas, 36, told the thieves he has no money when they told him to give them his money.

Kofi told the men he was going to his farm so ‘he has no money on him’.

The two men got angry and attacked Kofi for telling them he has no money. They took his cutlass, attacked him with it before escaping.

Kofi was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital when he was found in a pool of blood and is currently seeking medical attention.

Kofi who lives with his wife at Opaninambisa in the Brong Ahafo Region is pleading with the general public for help as he cannot afford to pay for the hospital bills.

The thieves, however, are nowhere to be found.
