A 42-year old man at Antoa Ahodwo near Bonwire in the Ashanti Region has been punished by ahis gods for failing to worship them.
Nana Agyei has been living in the town for some time now with wife and one girl.
According to reports from the area, Nana Agyei was found in the bush tied with a long robe from head to toe.
After struggling to untie the robe, one of the men poured libation to ask the gods to forgive Nana Agyei if he has done anything against them.
After the libation, the robe became lose for them to untie. The men decided to cut the robe as it was too long. Nana Agyei screamed when they tried to cut the robe saying the machete has been made unclean with ‘toilet’.
Nana Agyei asked for a glass of akpeteshie. He received the glass of akpeteshie with the back of his hand and throw the glass to someone when he finished.
Another glass was given to him but this time around, he chewed the glass without a single blood coming from his mouth.
He again asked for a bottle of beer which was given to him.
Nana Agyei finished chewing the glass and drunk the beer. The robe started untying and then stopped again.
He took the schnapps they used to pour libation and poured it on his and the robe.
The robe again started untying making it easy for the people to remove it from his body.
The residents indicated this is the third time this has happened to him.
They believe he has ignored to perform his duties as a priest and as a result, the gods have chosen to punish him.
The residents, however, have cut the rope into pieces because they believe it will give you strength if you use it to bath.
The robe will vanish if you fail to use it on time.
