Two persons, a man and his wife have been arrested at Bamang near Bonwire in the Ashanti Region after a missing girl was found dead with her hair shaved and some body parts missing.
On June 10, 2018, The Post reported in a story titled ‘Fear grips Bonwire residents as two people reported missing’.
In the story, we indicated that a man and a girl have mysteriously been missing since a man called Paul moved to the town.
We also indicated a friend of Paul was arrested after the girl went missing.
A few days ago, the missing girl was found dead in a bush at Bamang.
According to reports, the girl before her untimely death was sent by Paul’s friend and his wife. The girl, when she returned entered the house of Paul’s friend and was never seen again until her body was found.
Reports from the area indicate a young man saw the girl being murdered near river Oda in the bush.
The young man after seeing the girl being murdered told his mother when he got home.
His mother told him not to tell anyone because it might cause a problem.
The young man was so scared after witnessing the unfortunate incident to the extent that he went to a traditional priest to help him but he could not afford the items the priest requested.
After a while, the young man decided to leave Bamang but when he got to the crime scene girl was murdered, he saw a man believed to be a spirit according to some people who told him to go back and tell the truth.
The young man returned and later told his friends what had happened.
The police in the area have arrested Paul’s friend and his wife for further investigations.
