A Mobile Money vendor, Kate Aidoo, 23 at Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region has been sent to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after two thieves poured acid on her.
The two men went to the mobile money vendor to withdraw money from Kate.

After withdrawing the money, the two men went back to Kate and told her they want to withdraw money again.

When she brought out her phone to do the transfer, one of the thieves sprayed the acid on her.
Kate shouted and started calling for help. The two men attempted to run away but they were caught and taken to the police station.
