Tyson Fury will have a three stone advantage over Deontay Wilder as the heavyweights were kept apart after weighing in ahead of Saturday’s world title fight.
Security was beefed up as the two men stepped on the scales following the chaos at Wednesday’s press conference.
And the two men faced off two metres apart to endure there was no repeat of the ugly fracas.
Fury, who did not hang around to be interviewed, shouted insults across the stage as Wilder stood stock still.
And the American, who wore a bizarre mask, said: “Talk is cheap, actions speak louder than words. Tomorrow I’m going to release everything that’s inside me.
“It’s the most important fight in my career but it’s not the most difficult. I’m going to knock him out.”
Fury’s fans were out in force as they descended on sun-drenched downtown Los Angeles.
Their man arrived in style, hanging out of the sun roof of his rented jeep, before weighing in at 18st 4.5lb, two pounds lighter than for his victory over Francesco Pianeta in August, while Wilder scaled 15st 2.5lb.
The Brit will bid to become a two-time world champion at the Staples Center, three years after he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko.
After the biggest night of his career he ballooned to 400lb and battled drink and drug addictions.
But he has lost 150lb over the last 12 months to come back from the brink.
Questions remain over the standard of his comeback opponents of first Sefer Seferi and then Pianeta but nevertheless, Fury stands on the verge of reigning again.
Wilder meanwhile defends his WBC belt for the eighth time and is looking for his 41st career victory – and his 40th knockout.
He was given a huge fright by Luis Ortiz last March when the Cuban, who features on Saturday’s undercard, rocked him in the seventh round.
But Wilder battled back to stop the veteran in the 10th session.
The Alabaman then entered into negotiations with fellow champion Anthony Joshua with a view to unifying the division.
But talks broke down and Fury swooped to quickly agree terms.
