UK’s Johnson out of coronavirus intensive care

The United Kingdom’s coronavirus death toll rose by 881 in 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 7,978.

Meanwhile, Spain on Thursday reported 683 additional deaths, a lower number compared to the previous two days, while the United States for a second straight day recorded nearly 2,000 fatalities.

There are now more than 1.5 million confirmed cases of coronavirus around the world. More than 89,900 people have died and more than 339,000 have recovered.
