The University of Ghana (UG) and Collins Owusu Sekyere will return to court next month.
In November 2018, the Human Right Court 1 ruled that the University of Ghana should give Collins Owusu Sekyere after withholding it for two years.

Also, the court which was presided over by Judge Abodakpi directed the University of Ghana to give Owusu-Sekyere ¢3,000 and await the court’s final decision on the damages they will have to pay for unlawfully withholding Owusu-Sekyere’s certificate and also expelling him from his hall of residence, Commonwealth Hall, when he was a student.
The Post understands Owusu-Sekyere who now teaches Government at St. John Senior High School after his certificate was given to him has not been given the money yet, however, it is not known if UG is willing to pay or will ask the court to reconsider its decision when they appear in court again next month.
