US-based Ghanaian lady reportedly killed after boyfriend pushed her in front of oncoming vehicles

A tragic report has surfaced concerning the death of a young Ghanaian woman, Brittany Boateng, based in the United States of America. According to a post by EDHUB on X, accompanied by an obituary of the deceased, Brittany, aged 29, lost her life in a harrowing incident in Chicago, Illinois.

The incident occurred on February 23, 2024, following a heated argument between Brittany and her boyfriend, Quincy. The altercation allegedly escalated to the point where Quincy pushed Brittany into the path of oncoming vehicles on a highway, resulting in her untimely demise.

Brittany Boateng’s boyfriend has since been apprehended by authorities and is currently assisting in the investigation into the tragic event.

The attached obituary provided confirmation of Brittany’s passing and announced that her burial is scheduled for Sunday, March 24, 2024.

This heartbreaking news adds to a series of similar incidents involving Ghanaians living in the diaspora who have fallen victim to violence or tragic circumstances. Recently, there was the unfortunate case of Adu Boakye, a 39-year-old father who had recently relocated to Canada, tragically killed in a random shooting incident. Adu Boakye, survived by four children, represents another heartbreaking loss within the Ghanaian community abroad.
