Olympic Champion, Usain Bolt has finally scored his first goal as a professional footballer.
The Central Coast Mariners attacker scored in the 57 and 68 minutes as his side beat MacArthur South West United 4-0 in the Australian League.
Usain Bolt scored his first goal with his left foot after he shoved his opponent to position himself well before taking the strike.
His second goal may be the easiest goal he will ever score in his football career.
Bolt was left alone with the ball after a poor communication between MacArthur’s goalkeeper and defender.
The game was Usain Bolts first start at his team and he did the right thing to show his coach why he should be given the chance to start regularly. After the game, he described it as a “good feeling.”
“My first start and scoring two goals, it’s a good feeling.”
“I’m happy I could come here and show the world I’m improving.”
“I’m keen to be a Mariner, to play my best and get into the team.”
