Victor Moses’ time at Chelsea seems to be coming to an end after Chelsea manager, Mauricio Sarri indicated he does not know if he will feature in his team.
Danny Drinkwater who also moved from Leicester City under former manager Antonio Conte is also yet to feature in the Premier League for the London club.
“Moses is more suitable for playing wing back than like a winger or a fullback, I think. I don’t know (if they have a future). They have to improve but their characteristics are a little bit different,” Sarri told reporters.
“I think the situation is that Drinkwater for me is not suitable for a midfield with two other midfielders. I told him two months ago what I think.”
Since joining Chelsea in 2012, the former Wigan Athletic winger has been loaned to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United before being given the chance to establish himself in Chelsea’s first team under Antonio Conte.
Moses retired from the Nigerian national team after the World Cup in Russia to enable him to concentrate on his club career.
