Work is progressing steadily at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Early this year, the government announced that the stadium would be closed down for renovation works to begin.
The last time the stadium was used was on March 6 for the Independence Day celebration.
In a video posted on twitter by Wontumi Radio sports analyst, Atta Poku, the pitch has been removed for underground works to be done so that matches can be played during heavy rainfall.
The Post understands the floodlight and scoreboard will be fixed while all broken seats and toilet facilities will be replaced.
