The Williams brothers, Inaki and Nico, are making notable investments in Ghana, despite their strong ties to Spain.
In September 2023, it was revealed that the two forwards from Athletic Bilbao had ventured into the Ghanaian hospitality sector, establishing a hotel named San Mames. This hotel, named after Athletic Club’s renowned 39,000-seater stadium, was officially inaugurated in January 2024.
Furthermore, a recent video has surfaced showcasing a school reportedly owned by the Williams brothers. The footage, initially shared by esteemed sports journalist Sheikh Tophic Sienu, showcases the impressive infrastructure and facilities of the school situated in Pokuase, a suburb of Accra.
Named LEAD International School, the institution recently achieved success by winning an invitational soccer tournament in the Greater Accra Region.
It’s worth noting that the Williams brothers’ success is not limited to their off-field ventures; they continue to excel on the football pitch as well. In a recent Copa Del Rey fixture, the siblings combined to secure a significant victory for Athletic Bilbao over Atletico Madrid. Displaying exceptional teamwork, the brothers assisted each other’s goals in Bilbao’s resounding 3-0 triumph against Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
