A video circulating on social media shows a man being told to leave a land which he claims to be his.
In the video, a man with a cornrow hairstyle, wearing a jeans trouser and a long sleeve shirt was seen being escorted out of the land which has a fence around it.
In the video, another man with a long beard, wearing a white jalabiya and sunglasses can be seen and heard telling those around he has caught Anas so they should record them.
“He said he’s Anas Aremeyaw. He’s coming to claim. Today I’ve got Anas. Somebody has title, you’re coming to claim that you’re Anas Aremeyaw Anas.”
According to the man in jalabiya, the man in cornrow claimed he is Anas and he, Anas claims he is the owner of the land which he [ the man in jalabiya] knows for another person.
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, last year accused Anas of using illegal means to claim ownership of lands which belong to people.
Kennedy Agyapong showed pictures of lands on his television station, NET 2 which he said belonged to Anas after he had earlier published photos of the man who for years had remained anonymous.
In one of the photos he published, Anas who is also a lawyer was in lawyer’s apparel with a cornrow hairstyle while wearing the wig lawyers put on.
