Bernard Antwi “Chairman Wontumi” Boasiako has said Kotoko should make a bid for Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba.
Chairman Wontumi during an interview on Wontumi TV and Radio said Nana Yaw should tell the club’s International Relations manager, Denta Amoateng to contact Manchester United and start negotiations.
“I will plead with the CEO of Kotoko to meet me for a discussion so that we can send our International Relations Officer to negotiate with Man United. if they agree I will pay so that Paul Pogba can come and play for Kotoko”, Chairman Wontumi said.
“I want Pogba to play for Manchester United,” he said, “adding his price tag keeps dropping so he can pay.”
He added that signing Pogba will be a good investment as people will go to the stadium to watch him, buy his jerseys and there is no way the club will ‘lose.”
According to the Daily Mail, the Frenchman’s price tag has been reduced to £53 million and it is likely that he would join Real Madrid in the summer. Pogba joined United for £89.3 million from Juventus.
