The Tema Community Police have apprehended a couple known as Godpapa The Greatest and Empress Lupita, whose recent viral videos on social media have caused quite a stir.
The couple gained online attention after multiple videos showcasing their controversial behavior surfaced on the popular TikTok platform.
One video in particular featured Godpapa The Greatest, reportedly a former pastor, and his wife engaging in various activities, including smoking, which raised eyebrows among viewers.
During an interview with Kofi TV, the couple shockingly confessed to the gruesome act of killing one of their two children, claiming the child was possessed by an evil spirit.
Empress Lupita, the mother of the children, explained that her husband foresaw a dark future for their son, perceiving him as a potential source of demonic influence that could bring harm to Ghana. Consequently, they believed it was necessary to sacrifice him in order to safeguard the nation.
In a separate interview with Kofi TV, the surviving child, who managed to escape from his parents, corroborated the accusations, confirming that his brother, named El Waa, had indeed been murdered by their mother and father.
The 8-year-old boy recounted that his parents had poisoned his brother through gari soakings, and when he did not succumb to the poison, they resorted to burying him alive.
Furthermore, the young boy made several allegations of mistreatment against his parents, detailing a pattern of abuse and neglect.
It is a deeply disturbing and tragic case that has shocked the local community and stirred widespread outrage across the country. The authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into these horrifying events, and appropriate legal actions will be taken against the perpetrators.
