Former West Africa Football Academy midfielder, Gideon Waja has denied reports that he is joining Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
There have been reports in the media that the Toronto FC player is currently in Kumasi and will join the Ghanaian giant before the start of the 2019/2020 season.
However, Waja in a post on his Facebook page denied the reports that he is joining a club in Ghana and emphasized that he is only in the country for holidays.
According to reports gathered, the player has held talks with Kotoko, however, after it was reported that he was joining the club, other clubs have contacted him with an improved offer.
According to the earlier reports, Waja was expected to train with Kotoko today, however, it is not clear if he will join the team after his facebook post.
