We are not interested in the Ash Gold players again – Kotoko Policy Analyst, Energy

The Policy Analyst of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Amo ‘Energy’ Sarpong has said that the club is not interested in the Ashanti Gold players anymore.

Energy in an interview on Kessben FM said he does not understand why Ashanti Gold chose not to reply their letter and tell them about their intentions but instead granted interviews on radio stations to respond to their letter.

‘We are not interested in the players anymore’, he said, ‘take it from me’.

It was confirmed that Ashanti Gold has received a letter from Kotoko indicating their desire to sign three of their players.

Kotoko is interested in signing Shafiu Mumuni, Richard Dodji and Akamenko. Ashanti Gold, on the other hand, has set a price tag which is too high for Kotoko to meet.
