Drivers across the country have for some time now been complaining about the state of the economy.
The drivers who talked to The Post are not happy especially with the constant increase in the petrol prices.
According to them, life has become difficult for them as they spend all their money on petrol.
“We cannot even buy the kind of food we use to buy,” one driver told The Post.
“During Mahama’s time, petrol was being sold for ¢9 but now it is being sold for almost ¢12,” he added.
“We are struggling to buy roasted plantain and groundnut.”
“Cannot afford to buy meat anymore when we go to the chop bar.”
Though they are happy with some developmental projects in the country, they indicated the increase in the price of petrol will affect all goods and service.
The drivers hinted they might increase the prices of transportation from the current 20% to 30%.
