Cheif Executives Officer for Kumasi Asante Kotoko George Amoako has called a bluff to the report that Adingra Moussa is threatening to report Kotoko to FIFA after termination of his contract by the Porcupine Warriors
Adingra Moussa’s contract was terminated by Asante Kotoko just six days after signing for the club, but the player who felt disappointed with the decision of the club is asking for a compensation from the club or else he will report the club to FIFA to what he termed as unfair termination.
The player insisted there was no justification in terminating his contract after scoring two goals in his first friendly game.
But speaking on Kessben FM this morning, George Amoako emphathicaly stated the player does not have a case against Kotoko as he never reached the provisons stipulated in the contract.
” Our scout and our former Coach gave us names of players we should sign for the coming season. We were able to sign some.
“The new coach recommended Adingra Moussa and one other player. We put in some provisions before we made them signed the pre- contract, we put in provison for medical and performance clause before we validate the contract”
“When they came, they didn’t meet the two provisions. So we decided to invalidate contract. I don’t know why Moussa is still talking and insisting on getting compensation. We have not done anything wrong ” Kotoko have signed eleven (11) players in the current transfer window as they gear up for the CAF Champions Cup.
